Konstantin Katafaj, born in Belgrade, is the Executive Chef in restaurant Balkan Ekspees – Zemun. He was the founder of Serbian Master Chef Association and president from 2013 to 2019. In 2013, he was a member of the World Master Chef Society. He studied at the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism in Russia. He got interested in cooking at the age of 14 and gained his work experience at the most prestigious restaurants and hotels in Belgrade and Russia, as well as on cruises in Italy, where he worked as a Chef. In 1996 he started competing at numerous international competitions and was a member of the organization and judges teams.
