Bar Utility

  • Ensuring absolute cleanliness and order in accordance with Viking VSP rules as well as department SOP’s and supervisors directions.
  • Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers. Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
  • Collect used glassware, using correct racks and wash them in the dishwasher. Operate dishwasher according to instructions. Inspect glasses for damage and removes them from circulation if damaged.
  • Collect and transport a variety of supplies between stores and work areas. Place items in the appropriate location.
  • Participate with the bar staff in all activities required in opening and/or closing the bar.
  • Perform related duties as required. This position description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the shipboard employee occupying this position.
